Karen Sheviak
Karen is a freelance editor who has worked for several of Canada's top consumer magazines, including Style at Home, Today's Parent, Toronto Life and Hello! Canada. She has also edited books and cookbooks for Robert Rose publishing and Canadian Living magazine.
She first became interested in journalism as a Grade 10 student taking an English Media course. After graduating from university with a degree in English and History, she then went to college to study Journalism. She then worked as a researcher and copy editor for Canadian Living and Homemakers magazines, and has more than 10 years of experience in the magazine industry.
Her interests are in health and wellness and nutrition, since following the principles in these areas can directly improve your quality of life.
